The Welfare System

Jobseeker's Allowance is the main benefit for people of working age who are out of work or work less than 16 hours a week on average. If you are eligible, it is paid while you are looking for work. Find out more, including how to apply online.

A tax-free Child Benefit (£15 per week for the eldest child and £10 for other children) is paid to all mothers for each of her child ren up to the age 18, irrespective of family income.

Apprenticeships are available in more than 190 roles across a wide variety of industry sectors. These range from acountancy and business administrantion to construction, engineering, manufacturing and many more.

The system in the UK is better than it in the China because there are too much people and government can not take care all the people.  The people who begin to work, they may get a socity insurance number, then they need to pay money to their socity insurance account. But they just need to pay a part of their account money because their companies and the government may pay some money for them.
when people is retirement, they could get some money form their retirement foundation per month. This money is that they had paid before they retired per month.
